UK Vogue May/June
Described as a Versace-clad Olympic goddess in Vogues June issue, kate is looking smokin hot. I like this issue cover..yes indeed I do, purely because I’m a total Kate Moss perv. I mean who in their right mind isn’t? I adore her waved hair & the red lips and nails. Photographed by the incredible duo Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott. Apparently they reused the rope that they used for the Beckhams ‘Armani’ shoot a few years back. Its great to see the rope being recycled and put to good use. Nice work lads.

New mum Charlize Theron also looked fabulous on the cover of UK Vogue in May. Those long slender legs and that pale blue Versace dress, just magical. At the time there was a bit of controversy surrounding her visible tatoo, which I personally think is total bullshit. I don’t see why anyone has the right to photoshop her tattoo out, not unless she requested them to do so. I think it’s a part of who she is and it would be almost as criminal as photoshopping Cindy Crawfords mole! She’s a truly classic beauty- who has a meaningful tattoo, that she loves. Obviously its peoples quirky, individual idiosyncrasies that make them… er.. well individual! I’m therefore pleased that her tattoo was visible and Vogue refrained from photoshopping it out. Believe it or not this is her first UK Vogue cover and surely not her last as its absolutely fabulous! Good woman Charlize.

Clemence Poésy
French actress Clemence Poésy is the new campaign face of G-Star RAW. You may have seen a poster of her in the underground biting her lip and looking all French and sexy. I really like the rock & roll ‘i dont give a fuck i’m toooo cool’ style of the images. Vincent Gallo was also used in this campaign.. Wow, I had the biggest crush on him after watching Buffalo 66. He’s a total mental person, which in itself is rather appealing. Along with the fact that he’s also a total RIDE.
Anyhow, lately ALOT of people have been telling me I look like Miss Poésy….. Some people even going to the trouble of calling or emailing me out of the blue, to ask if I have heard of her.. I have to say I’m not complaining. I mean she’s not bad in fairness, She’s ten times cooler than Avril Lavigne (that was a real low point), Clare Danes and Kirstn Dunst AND I admire and respect her work. ‘In Bruges’ being one of my favourites ever, such an amazingly dark humored legend of a film,.
I WASN’T jealous that she got to kiss Collin Farrell at all… not one tiny bit.. Fair play to her, perhaps we might get to play sisters someday!!
Sienna Miller: British Vogue Cover
How lovely is it to see Sienna Miller smiling brightly on the cover of British Vogue..? lts a rather cute girl next door shot, which is a nice contrast to some of the more heated, raunchy covers. I really love the inside shot below, which is far more interesting than the cover.. Although I think the cover is a perfect cover shot for spring. She looks like a perky wee daffodil in that Stella Mc Carthy dress.. blooming gorgeous! She is preggers AND in love, which might explain that beamy glow. I’ve always liked Ms Miller.. She just comes across as a rather down to earth, sound gal and not a complete pouty pain in the arse. I really like her diverse sense of style and she always looks amazing..
I don’t know how she does it…
the wagon!

DAZED & CONFUSED JANUARY ISSUE: ROONEY MARA
Check out actress Rooney Mara on the cover of January’s Dazed and Confused Magazine. It is smokin..! Love the epic styling by Karen Langley, it’s so dark and dramatised. Shot by photographer Glen Luchford, the end result is amazingly edgy and uncompromisingly beautiful. I love the dogs, the birds.. the stunning black head piece, the dingy beach setting. The mood of the shoot is dark and dangerous and really emphasizes Mara’s unique, non-stereotypical beauty. I’m looking forward to actually reading her interview, she claims her character ‘lisbeth Salander’ is not that far removed from herself as she’s “always been drawn to darkness.” I love reading interviews with actors, its usually so insightful, interesting & beneficial to know how various artists, approach their roles.
Florence on the cover of British Vogue!

The stunning Florence Welch graces the cover of Vogue- the January 2012 issue… doing Redheads everywhere proud.. Nice one!..
Shot by Mario Testino, the issue features an in depth interview inside. I must say I don’t think this is the shot I would have chosen for the cover.. as I don’t really think she looks like herself. I love her everyday quirky look and style, this lady is a real style icon. I think its a pity they couldn’t have more of that quirkiness in this shot. Its a beautiful shot.. but I personally feel it’s lacking something.. perhaps a tad too airbrushed and safe. Nonetheless its good to see her on the front cover of Vogue.
She’s only pure deadly! x
LADY GAGA on the cover of ELLE UK in Irish designer Simone Rocha
I’m really pleased to see Lady Gaga grace the cover of ELLE UK, in Irish designer Simone Rocha. The cover shot by Matt Irwin looks absolutely stunning.. so fresh, so ethereal, so minty green! Simone has collaborated recently with Topshop and this isn’t the first time Gaga has stepped out in one of her creations. Its inspiring to see this young fellow Dubliner doing so incredibly well. An exceptional talent, be sure to check out her designs on her website below. Congratulations Ms Rocha and I’ve no doubt this will be the first of many. X
