Here we are at LFW. . . It was a busy Monday getting all the photos and absolutely freezing, especially when you are already feeling under the weather!! We went to Antonio Berardi, Topshop Venue, Vauxhall Fashion Scout and Somerset House. . . thanks to Avril for taking all names and details (& for almost losing the notebook!)
Thanks everyone for all your votes…and all your friends votes..and all their friends votes!! I am absolutely delighted to be the winner of InStyle‘s competition – I will keep you all posted! Big thanks to Avril, Cailin, Roberta & Sara for their great style! Emma x
My super stylish friend Dee left her earmuffs in mine the other night.. I’ve always thought earmuffs were a bit weird.. something about them put me on edge.. Ear muffs!? muff muff muff!….. Perhaps it was the muff bit that put me off.. Anyway I’m wearing said muff’s right now and I realise I’ve been missing out! big time! Its been so long since I owned a pair of these practical lil ear warmers. I mean whats not to like? they keep your ears warm and your hair in place and they are a stylish alternative to a hat.
I’m working in Camden at the moment and Im loving the buzzing energy there. I’ve been exploring the vintage shops in Chalk farm and they are full of christmas jumpers and warm winter accessories.
First and foremost though, my advice would be to get yourselves some muffs!.. There are loads of lovely furry/printed ones in the markets for 4 quid!..
toasty ears!?.. priceless x

Hello there catch coco readers! Although the weather has been a bit mad. It is summer, so time to show a bit of skin and get into your favourite dress. Here’s more of Emma’s shots from the other day. I really adore this Paradisa dress. The bright block Royal Blue is so striking. I love the fact that it can be dressed up or down. It can look cool and minimal, worn at a summer BBQ with ballet bumps/hat/cardigan. Or it can look modern and elegant, if you accessorize well with high heels and Jewelry. An Indian wedding would be perfect..! I think when you want to invest in a statement piece like this, its better if you can wear it in more than one style. Nothing worse than spending 200 quid on a dress and only wearing it once.
The necklace is by Gogo Philips at Topshop. I really love their stuff. It resembles cheap costume jewelry. Its very out there, 70′s vintage, most pieces are gold, chunky but so kitch & cool. Check it out next time you’re in Topshop.
Oh and don’t talk to be about that hat. At the moment its permanently on my head!..
