Summertime

Hello there catch coco readers! Although the weather has been a bit mad. It is summer, so time to show a bit of skin and get into your favourite dress. Here’s more of Emma’s shots from the other day. I really adore this Paradisa dress. The bright block Royal Blue is so striking. I love the fact that it can be dressed up or down. It can look cool and minimal, worn at a summer BBQ with ballet bumps/hat/cardigan. Or it can look modern and elegant, if you accessorize well with high heels and Jewelry. An Indian wedding would be perfect..! I think when you want to invest in a statement piece like this, its better if you can wear it in more than one style. Nothing worse than spending 200 quid on a dress and only wearing it once.
The necklace is by Gogo Philips at Topshop. I really love their stuff. It resembles cheap costume jewelry. Its very out there, 70′s vintage, most pieces are gold, chunky but so kitch & cool. Check it out next time you’re in Topshop.
Oh and don’t talk to be about that hat. At the moment its permanently on my head!..

My Dream Trench Coat!..
If I’m perfectly honest… which I always am!..
I would have to admit that my love for this Reiss Trench coat is certainly not healthy!….I fell in love with this perfectly formed ‘bad boy!’ the moment I laid eyes on it..I mean what’s not to love??..I adore the practical colour..(dark khaki, it won’t get dirty easily) the leather piping trimmings..the hooded design at the back, the slit with the buttons!.. The fact that it doesn’t have an annoying showy belt to tie in an oh so fashionable way!.. It’s all in the intricate details that make this coat such a wonderful investment piece. It would want to be an investment at 265 pound sterling……. Reiss are splendid when it comes to the finer detailing, that really make an item that bit more… its the small touches. The coats are certainly good quality and they fit nicely too…like a glove!.. I have admittedly tried this on more than once..
Everyone needs a good trench for spring summer right!?…
Who knows what the British/Irish weather will throw at us!..?
I’ve a funny feeling this beauty may find its way into my wardrobe!..

U Magazine – Roberta Howett
Below are photos I took of Roberta Howett which were recently featured in U Magazine in Ireland. A couple of months ago Roberta was asked by U Magazine to send in a fashion diary of her looks over 10 days. I was only delighted to take the photographs – Roberta has amazing style and is so natural in front of the camera, she has a fantastic wardrobe and knows just how to style her looks. My favourite look would have to be No. 6 (how amazing is that Milly jacket, perfectly accessorised with a Chanel bag!)
Here are some pics from the 10 day fashion diary – some which were featured in the magazine & some not. One item that wasn’t visible is an alligator print bag from Reiss which is posted below…I love this bag. I think I might just have to raid Roberta’s wardrobe!
