Weekend of Sun in London
The weather in London was so lovely at the weekend .. when you live & work here you forget sometimes about all the attractions and things to do. The sun does make this easier so over the weekend we walked the Southbank, got the boat from Waterloo to Greenwich where we checked out the views, had some drinks and enjoyed the sun! We also paid a visit to Hampton Court Palace over the weekend - I’ve always wanted to go in a maze so this was the first port of call, although I’d definitely go bigger and tougher next time. The Rose Garden here was so lovely too – the smells were fab, even though I suffer from hay fever. These are some of my photos from the weekend. Here’s hoping the sun lasts….

P.S If you have visited London a few times and have already seen the ‘typical’ attractions then make sure you take a trip out to Greenwich. Try to pick a good day so you can take in the views and enjoy the setting and atmosphere. Oh and don’t forget to take the ferry there but try the DLR back - feel like you are in the ‘future’ as you weave through all the high-rise buildings of Canary Wharf in a self driving train - very strange!
